Sulcata tortoises that live outdoors are tolerant to numerous temperature ranges. Large temperatures are certainly not likely to be a challenge provided the tortoise incorporates a shaded location to flee to if wanted. The tortoises by themselves can cope with surprisingly cold temperatures, as low as forty five levels Fahrenheit, with no problems.
